KP Devlin is a singer, songwriter, performer and recording artist. He has performed in his native New York, and toured both nationally and internationally.
He was heavily influenced by early exposure to a wide variety of music, including folk, rock, classical, medieval and many types of ethnic music. He was most profoundly affected by the troubadours and balladeers with unorthodox voices, such as Bob Dylan and Tom Waits. At this time he was also introduced to the artwork of Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Bruegel and Salvador Dali, thanks to his parents’ taste in home decor. All of this helped foster in KP an interest in storytelling, fantasy and nature that is reflected in his music.
He has received extensive airplay on indie radio stations, both in the US and around the world. He has successfully licensed his music to films, television programs and TV commercials. His diverse influences have led him to create a body of work that is both eclectic and immanently listenable.
