Eros Minichiello and Florin Maasz are Centovalley. Based in Italian Switzerland, Eros and Florin create mellow electronic lounge sound that is perfect for a lazy summer day. Their beautiful melodies are part chill-out, part techno, part jazz, and are always atmospheric with just the perfect use of beats. It’s a great alternative to Thievery Corporation.

Tracks from Centovalley’s new album “August,” would work well for any movie, television, or commercial that needs a modern lounge music sound with great atmospherics.

Centovalley is a musical project started by Eros Minichiello and Florin Maasz. Eros and Florin are promoters for Stereolake Records and have recorded and produced soundtracks for Swiss films and commercials. Under the name of Cybophonia, the duo collaborated to remix many tunes for the Italian label Irma Records.

In 2003, Eros and Florin released their first Centovalley EP titled “4 Tracks.” In 2004, they released a promo EP titled “Greetings” and produced a special CD for Ycami Spa. In 2006, they published their debut album titled “August,” featured here on Musync.

Hailing from Locarno, Switzerland, Eros and Florin describe their work as lounge and downtempo, jazz and house, bossa nova and country, with beautiful melodies and just the right amount of beats. They classify their work as an interesting combination of electronica, nu-jazz, and bossa nova.
